Getting a taste for the town’s yesteryears and early beginnings is also as simple as taking a stroll down the sidewalks of neighborhoods such as the Jarvesville Historic District. Greek Revival and Cape Cod-style homes occupy the district, which sits on the former site of the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. Those intrigued by the town’s history of glassmaking will want to check out the displays of the Sandwich Glass Museum, only minutes away.
Of course, one of the largest attractions of Sandwich is its plenitude of beaches, and Town Neck Beach, in particular, proves to be a true jewel in Cape Cod’s crown.
