Margie McShane, is a dedicated real estate agent with a passion for serving the South Shore and Cape Cod communities. Margie's journey in real estate began in 1983, and since then, she has become an integral part of the local real estate landscape. With 41 years of consistent real estate practice, one can say that Margie is lucky enough to live her passion.

 

Margie's love for real estate stems from her deep appreciation for the transformative impact a home can have on people's lives. She finds joy in helping clients navigate the intricate process of buying or selling a home, ensuring that they achieve their real estate goals with confidence and peace of mind. What sets Margie apart is her genuine commitment to understanding her clients' needs and her unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional service. Margie’s own experience of buying and selling over 10 properties has given her first hand knowledge of all the ups and downs of buying or selling real estate. Her empathy and understanding of what her clients are going through at this time is unwavering.

 

In 2020 Margie joined Compass and jointly created a team, The Cook & McShane Team. Having successfully embraced the team atmosphere Margie enhanced her expertise with Irene Cook, her former partner. In November of 2023 Irene moved into a management role at Compass. It was then that Margie transformed her business model into Margie McShane Group. Now with added two realtors, Julie Phillips and Melissa McDonough. Julie’s added expertise on Cape Cod and Melissa’s expertise on the South Shore has rounded out Margie’s real estate team.
